GIFA – The Added Value Route for British Suppliers
Tweet
GIFA is one of the biggest opportunities for companies working in the global cast metals industry to reach a large number of potential customers from around the world. The show is recognised as the largest and most prominent foundry equipment and consumables show in the world and its long-standing reputation as the place where the industry meets means that, quite frankly, it is a ‘must attend’ event for all those supplying the foundry industry in Europe, Asia, the Americas, Africa and the rest of the world.
The dilemma is that to exhibit, the show can be costly, time-consuming and daunting, especially for a smaller company which doesn’t have a full marketing department to handle the many decisions that need to be made prior to, and during, the show.
For UK companies, the answer is simple – let your trade association take some of this weight off your mind. Members of the Foundry Equipment and Supplies Association (FESA) can take advantage of the association’s good working relationship with ITSL, the UK agents for the exhibition organisers, by exhibiting on the British Pavilion. Organised by FESA, with the help of ITSL, the British Pavilion will showcase excellent world-class British equipment and consumables suppliers to the global foundry industry. Stands are available in a range of sizes, at competitive costs and with the added value of assistance with all the administration involved in organising and managing a successful exhibition stand at a premier international exhibition.
Whether you are a large or small company, a regular exhibitor or this is your first venture, being with FESA on the British Pavilion is an ideal way to be at the show.
FESA will work with you to ensure you get the best cost options and easiest preparation for what can be quite a complicated process. FESA will have on the British Pavilion stand meeting rooms, office facilities, storage and a café meaning the space you book can be utilised one hundred percent to promote your business. The very good working relationship of FESA with ITSL, the UK agents for the exhibition organisers, and UK Trade and Investment means that the best possible stand location, facilities and costs can be achieved. It is also strongly expected that grants will be available from the UK government to subsidise the cost of being at this premier event.
Of course, stand availability is limited and offered on a first come, first served bases so the time is NOW to contact FESA and see what the organisation can do to help you get the best out of GIFA. FESA Secretary Andrew Turner told Foundry Trade Journal: “People often leave it very late to commit and then they are disappointed that they can’t have a corner stand or the size of stand they want. The only way to avoid this is to contact us now. There are only 12 months to go until the show and there are plenty of things that need to be organised so the sooner the better – that way we can all enjoy a successful event. It only takes a few minutes to make a telephone call and I urge our members to apply to be on the British Pavilion ASAP.
“Exhibitors at the last GIFA in 2011 found the assistance given by FESA to be invaluable and the overall event was highly successful with significant numbers of enquiries being handled on the stands and consequent orders received.”
Why go it alone, when you can take advantage of being part of a larger team?
