AN INVITATION TO SLOVENIA TO WFO-TECHNICAL FORUM AND 59TH IFC PORTOROZ 2019

THESE TWO FOUNDRY EVENTS WILL BE HELD TOGETHER FROM 18-20 SEPTEMBER 2019 AT THE CONGRESS CENTRE OF HOTEL SLOVENIA IN PORTOROZ, WITH THE MOTTO: “CASTINGS AS COMPLEX COMPONENTS”.

Portoroz is already a traditional location of foundry science and profession, where the IFC has been taking place in September of each year for many decades now. The Conference also gives an opportunity for presentations in a special lecture section intended for PhD Students and Young Researchers Application forms for all participants, lecturers and exhibitors are available here:

 

The deadline for applying the lecture and lecturers is 30.4. 2019.
The deadline for applying for the exhibition area is 31.7. 2019.
The deadline for applying for all other participants is 10.9. 2019.

 

Approximately 280 participants from countries all over the world participate in our  IFC - International Foundry Conference in Portorož. Our IFC is an international meeting point for scientist and experts, brought together by foundry profession.

A foundry exhibition, where Slovene and foreign exhibitors present their novelties, is also taking place during our foundry conference. Conference also offers opportunities for formal and informal meetings in the framework of international associations, such as MEGI and WFO, as well as regular meeting of the Society's foundry magazine editorial committee, Livarski vestnik.
