COMPLETE AUTOMATION IN THE FOUNDRY: LAEMPE MÖSSNER SINTO EXPANDS COMPETENCIES
Tweet
● Separate automation department currently being set up
● High level of competence in project planning and implementation of customised, turnkey solutions
● New solutions are offered with moulding plant automation
Turnkey automation solutions have always been one of the core competencies of Laempe Mössner Sinto. The company implements automation for all areas in core production: sand preparation, core shooter, core transport, core finishing and in moulding plant automation. The latter includes core setters as well as filter and support setters including Laempe's own image processing systems and solutions. Thanks to its many years of experience, the world's leading company in core production technology can offer and implement holistic solutions. This means that starting from engineering to final acceptance, all areas can be covered independently. This includes planning, design and engineering, E-Plan, PLC, robotics, manufacturing, assembly, image processing, commissioning and worldwide services. This holistic approach makes Laempe Mössner Sinto unique in the industry. In the future, automation will play an even greater role, as can be seen from the fact that a separate automation department is currently being set up.
Due to the shortage of skilled workers, the requirements for environmental protection and resource conservation, the increased quality requirements as well as the higher demands on ergonomics, Laempe Mössner Sinto is therefore focusing even more on the segment of complete automation. In the future, image processing solutions developed in-house will also be increasingly integrated.
In principle, Laempe Mössner Sinto pursues the approach of "everything from a single source" with a single contact person and regulated responsibilities. As a rule, this avoids tiresome interface problems, favours timely implementation and enables an unbureaucratic solution in the event of possible disruptions. With this approach, Laempe implements, for example, customised turnkey mould production lines, with the parallel production of several core types including the mould shell as well as the ready-to-cast assembly of the moulds.
Laempe's automation solutions are already being used successfully around the world, including by well-known market leaders of engine block assembly lines, manufacturers of brake disc cores including core inspection, and automation and deburring of chassis parts.
At GIFA (12th -16th June in Dusseldorf, Germany), Laempe (Stand 17D23) will present its automation expertise and thus demonstrate how foundry processes can be made even more efficient.
