It’s reported that Brazilian mining giant Vale made a major breakthrough to dock one of its giant iron ore vessels (Berge Everest) in China for its maiden arrival, ending a year-long uncertainty through Chinese authorities over the fleet's access to its biggest market.
The 388,000-deadweight-tonne vessel, Berge Everest, began unloading at China's Dalian Port on Wednesday and is expected to depart on Saturday, shipping sources said.
