This year’s World Foundry Congress will be hosted by The National Chamber of Transformation Industry (CANACINTRA) and held in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico (23-27 April 2012). The prestigious event will run alongside the established FundiExpo international exhibition and will include a full technical conference, technical workshops, poster sessions, keynote speeches, cultural and social events, works visits, a pre-congress event and post-congress tours.
The WFO is recognised as the leading provider of technical information designed to develop, enhance and improve the production of metal casting, using the latest practices and sustainable techniques in the industry.
By means of involvement with member associations in 30 countries, the WFO creates a network of knowledge and technical resources. This represents a vital tool for each of the foundry associations, businesses and workers involved in the foundry industry around the world. The WFO is a neutral body representing the collective needs of its members globally.
One of the WFO’s main functions is to bring members of the industry together and distribute appropriate information in a standardised and systematised way which is why the World Foundry Congress has become an important benchmark providing the ideal opportunity to present technical innovations. Here members discuss all aspects of production and global technological developments in the industry, providing excellent networking opportunities for all those who wish to obtain a complete understanding of the latest research and developments in the foundry industry.
