USA - Oberdorfer Aluminum Casting Facility to Close.

The Wall Street Journal reports one of Syracuse, N.Y.’s oldest manufacturers, aluminum casting facility Oberdorfer LLC, has notified the state of its plans to shut down on May 3, 2013. The company has been in business for more than a century and cited the economic impact of the recession, particularly on its aerospace business. The closing will eliminate 86 jobs.
