Palmer Foundry, Palmer, Mass., has expanded and plans further improvements since a 2001 fire destroyed its 35,000-sq.-ft. facility on Mt. Dumplin Road. Masslive.com reports the company recently received town approval to add another 10,000 sq. ft. to its facility.
According to company president Robert M. Logan, the company ships cast aluminum parts across the U.S. and to Europe, Canada, China and other parts of Asia. Palmer manufactures components for LED light fixtures, medical and scientific equipment, as well as motors and other industrial applications. It has trademarked aluminum alloys including HyDuct5, which is designed to bend, not break.
