Messe Brasil and Fiesc decided to join the trade fairs Metalurgia (International Fair and Congress of Technology for Foundry, Steel Mills, Forging, Aluminum and Services) and Powergrid Brasil (Energy Trade Fair and Congress - Technology, Infrastructure and Energy Efficiency) starting in 2014.
Metalurgia is the largest segment fair in Brazil held in even years, and since it brings together the largest energy consumers (industries), it brought in Powergrid. This fair presents solutions and innovations in efficient energy consumption, contributing to energy cost reductions of industries, construction developments, cities, ports, shopping malls, hotels and other segments.
“Powergrid Brasil brings alternatives to improve the industry's competitiveness, optimizing energy use. Merging it to the Metalurgia fair, which is already consolidated as a reference in the sector, will make it even stronger", explains Luiz Felipe Lepeltier, director of Messe Brasil.
Both fairs will be held from September 16-19, 2014, in Joinville/SC. Metalurgia is organized by Messe Brasil, with support from Abifa and Powergrid is promoted by the Federation of Industries of the State of Santa Catarina (Fiesc), as part of the Sustainability Plan for Competitiveness of Santa Catarina’s Industry.
