The EU primary aluminium is not competitive

A recent study by Ceps, Centre for European Policy Studies, assessed the impact of direct costs, administrative burdens and regulatory inconsistencies that the aluminium industry has been forced to support over the last decade because of EU policies about energy, climate change, environment, competition, trade and products.
Made on behalf of the European Commission and published at the beginning of November, the study surveyed 46 leading Production plants of our continent which, together, account for more than 60% of EU aluminium production.
