ThyssenKrupp Materials NA (TKMNA) opened a 100,000-square-foot carbon, stainless and aluminum coil processing and distribution service center in Woodstock, Ala. TKMNA invested more than $15 million in the facility, which currently employs 20 full-time employees and will create approximately 45 full-time jobs at full capacity. The new facility processes and distributes carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum coil for TKMNA's customers across the southern U.S. The site just outside Birmingham allows for future expansion up to 250,000 square feet. ThyssenKrupp Steel Services and Ken-Mac Metals, both divisions of TKMNA, occupy the center.
