By order of Volvo Powertrain AB, a company of the Volvo Group, sale of assets surplus to their production lines located in SwedenA complete iron casting foundry, capacity 30,000 ton/annum, producing solid and ventilated brake discs but suitable for a variety of automotive and industrial castings.
The line includes among many items: a Heinrich Wagner Sinto airflow squeeze moulding Line, two Röper core making machines with ABB robots and automatic core racking and transport system, Junker induction pouring and holding furnaces and a Disa automatic Shot Blasting plant (2007).
Main specifications are 875 x 875 mm x 250mm/250mm flasks, 170 flasks, 211 moulds per hour, 70-75kg per mould.
The line has been regularly modernized with retrofits, updates and investments up until 2013.
