Stellar Materials Acquires Three Refractory Companies.

Stellar Materials Inc. announced the acquisition of Stellar Canada Inc., Refractory Resources Ltd. (both headquartered in Burlington, Ontario) and Cardinal Refractories Inc. of Fremont, Ohio. The three companies offer unique, high-quality solutions to the refractory consuming industry. This is partially a vertical integration, as Stellar Canada has been a long-standing and strategic partner to - and re-seller for - Boca Raton, Fla.-based Stellar Materials. According to Stellar Materials, the entire group of companies will benefit from combining their resources.
