METALURGIA 2014 - Foundry Fair in Brazil.
The metal-mechanic industry in Brazil is coming out of a retraction phase and is already showing signs of recovery, with a forecast for expansion in the coming years. In the truck industry alone, six new factories have begun their activities in the country: DAF, JAC, Foton Aumark, Sinotruck, Metro-Schacman and International. While those already installed are expanding their lines with heavier models, showing that there will be strong demand growth in the sector.
The northern region of Santa Catarina is one of Brazil’s most developed in this sector, and is attracting large companies to install new plants, like GM with its two units and BMW; adding to those already based here such as Tupy, Docol, Whirlpool , Embraco, Weg, Tuper, ArcelorMittal, Marcegaglia, Schulz, Zen, Wetzel, Altona and others.
At the center of all this expansion is the Metalurgia fair, which attracts exhibitors and visitors from Brazil and abroad. For over 15 years it has integrated and developed the sector’s supply chain by presenting innovative products with technological advances.
Showcase your company in METALURGIA
By participating in Metalurgia 2014, you have access to the entire national market in its moment of recovery. This is the opportunity of the year to exhibit your products and services, show your qualities, broaden your customer base and make great deals.
The increase in demand, both in volume and in quality, which the industry is experiencing, forces enterprises to purchase new equipment and seek new services and business. These issues reinforce the fair’s public as a strong potential buyer since it’s composed mostly of professionals with purchase decision-making power, or directly influence it.
The International Fair and Congress of Technology for Casting, Forging, Aluminum and Services is the sector’s largest fair held in Brazil. It always takes place in even years and, in 2014, will be held from September 16 - 19, 2014.
