Tenaris Inaugurates Heat-Treat Expansion

Tenaris inaugurated the expansion project at its mill in Cartagena-Bolivar, Colombia. The $240 million project includes new heat-treatment, threading and finishing lines. The plan, announced in 2012, contributes to the production of new products for the exploration and production of oil and gas. New technology at the mill includes a state-of-the-art heat-treatment line, threading facilities capable of processing proprietary premium connections, inspection lines to meet the highest quality standards and adjustment lines. The entire process guarantees the production of high-quality finished pipes.
