Inductotherm Europe Ltd has awarded 30 long-service certificates to employees based at the company’s Droitwich (UK) headquarters to commemorate service totalling 653 years.
Those picking up certificates have served from between three to 45 years’ employment with the world-leading expert in induction melting technology and include employees from the shop floor and the offices.
Speaking about the pride he feels in the workforce managing director, Steve Hill, who was one of seven employees who received a 40-years service certificate, said: “We are delighted to have so many long-serving employees, they are loyal and hard-working and the company is grateful for their commitment over the years. It seems that once someone has been with us for about a year, they tend to stay. Many of our employees have family members who are or who have worked here and are second or third generation Inductotherm employees. We are proud to be an international company providing quality manufacturing employment for the people of Droitwich.”
The presentations were made by chairman Graham Hawkins, who found the tables turned on him when he was presented with a certificate to mark 45 years with Inductotherm. Commenting, Steve Hill said: “Graham and others had a real passion for the job when the company started and this has continued throughout the decades and has been passed down to others working here.”
Graham Hawkins thanked all the staff for their on-going support and commitment to the company. “We have had some great people in my time with the company and we have plenty of great people working here today,” he said. “I want to thank everyone for making this a very special place to work and our gratitude is extended to all employees for their continued service over the years.”
Inductotherm Europe Ltd prides itself on its many years of expertise and an admirable track-record in serving the global cast metals industry which is in part due to the company’s ability to retain experienced designers and engineers and further develop their skills to suit a rapidly changing industry.
Inductotherm manages induction melting projects throughout the UK, Europe and other regions of the world from the sale of individual furnaces to full turnkey melting technology projects for some of the leading foundries in the world.
