Pig iron price in Jiangxi province continues dropping slightly. For instance, parts of steel mills cut the pig iron (L10) price by CNY 50-80 per tonne, and now offer CNY 2,970-3,000 per tonne to buy steelmaking pig iron from surrounding provinces Yunnan and Hubei .
 Steelmakers' pig iron purchasing enthusiasm doesn't warm up in accordance with steel price rally. As we know, Xinyu Steel plans to withdraw from pig iron market in August; Pingxiang Steel only schemes to buy 5000 tonnes pig iron; Nanchang Changli Steel, with around 25,000-tonne pig iron inventory, will merely buy a few cheap resources.
