Powergrid Brazil 2016 to unveil Solutions for Cost-efficient Energy

The cost of energy used by industries in Brazil increased 0.9% in the third quarter of 2015 in comparison of the previous quarter. If we compare this figure with the same period last year, it may reach 43.9%. This data have been provided recently by the National Confederation of Industry (Confederação Nacional da Indústria - CNI), and indicates that the quest for energy efficiency has become imperative.

With that in mind, in order to present new ways to improve companies performance and make them more competitive regarding energy consumption efficiency, Powergrid Brazil - Fair and Congress of Energy - Technology, Infrastructure and Energy Efficiency has a date to occur: 13 to 16 September 2016, in Joinville/SC.

The event is targeted to industry and wholesale consumers, ports, hospitals, shopping malls, hotels and any enterprise that can find in efficient consumption a better competitiveness in the market. Exhibitor areas include Energy Traders, Stationary generators and Self-generation Suppliers, Solar power, Lighting, Electric motors, Batteries, UPS, Infrastructure solutions, Components, Industrial equipment, Automation, Environment, Smart grid and other cutting-edge technologies.

This edition of the trade show will take place concurrently with Metalurgia 2016, approaching large metallurgical industries and energy companies. Both events are biennial and attracted 21,000 visitors from 17 countries and 14 Brazilian states in 2014, 49% of these with leadership roles (Manager, CEO, partner or Coordinator).
