Independent Development of 3.6MW Offshore Wind Turbine

In July, 2010, Shanghai Electric has independently developed 3.6MW offshore wind turbine. The performance of the turbine is on a part with its overseas counterparts, reaching the world-class.
The success in the research and development symbolizes China’s capability of producing high-powered wind turbine units, especially the possession of key know-how, closing the gap with the advanced nations.
