Brazilian pig iron producers seek price rises in fresh deals

Export prices for Brazilian pig iron were unchanged this week due to a lack of trading activity, but producers will be seeking price increases in their next deals.
Metal Bulletin’s weekly price assessment for Minas Gerais-origin pig iron exports was stable week-on-week on Friday July 14, at $320-325 per tonne fob, while export prices for Carajás-origin pig iron were steady over the same period, at $345-350 per tonne fob.
