CIS PIG IRON: Market improves on better demand, higher scrap costs

The export market for CIS-origin pig iron is gradually improving because of solid demand and rising scrap prices, Metal Bulletin has been told.
“Buyers are aiming to supply their pig iron needs before the end of the year,” a trader told Metal Bulletin on Thursday November 30.
