Shaping the global foundry sector

Executives, member organisations and working groups from the World Foundry Organization (WFO) met during the World Foundry Congress 2018 to discuss future proposals for the organisation to satisfy member needs in the 21st century.
WFO president, Mark Fenyes FICME and general secretary Eur Ing Andrew Turner CEng FICME (pictured) hosted the board meetings in Poland, which considered the general state of the foundry sector in various regions of the world and how the WFO can assist in uniting the global industry for the further technical development and business success moving forward.
The latest initiative from the WFO is the World Foundry Summit, to be held in Rome (8-9th November 2018) where senior foundry personnel and CEOs will meet to debate about policy and strategy for the future of the foundry industry. www.thewfo.com
