Black Sea pig iron exports non-existent; Russian mills searching for other options

The Black Sea pig iron export market slowed to a halt in the week to Thursday March 3, with production in Ukraine suspended because of the war and shipments from Russia subject to Western sanctions, sources told Fastmarkets.
Despite the imposed restrictions suppliers from Russia have been searching for ways to continue export shipments, they added.
