Brazil's pig iron exports keep rising in Jun

According to the Brazilian customs, Brazil exported approximately 410,000 tons of pig iron in June, increasing from 250,000 tons in April and 320,000 tons in May.
The US was the main destination with nearly 300,000 tons, followed by Europe's 88,000 tons, Mexico's 7,000 tons, and Asia's 2,600 tons.
By region, steel mills in the southern states of Minas Gerais and Espirito Santo produced about 330,000 tons of pig iron, mills in the northern state of Maranhao produced 50,000 tons, and mills in the central-western state of Mato Grosso do Sul produced 25,000 tons.
