China's crude steel output slightly grows in Jun y-o-y

According to statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) of China, China's crude steel output totaled around 91.1 million tons in June, slightly growing by 0.4% from the same month a year ago; the output of pig iron was nearly 77 million tons, keeping flat year on year. Steel production was 120.1 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.4%.
In the first half of this year, China's crude steel and pig iron production amounted to approximately 535.4 million tons and 451.6 million tons, up by 1.3% and 2.7% year on year, respectively. Steel output was up by 4.4% year on year to 676.6 million tons.
