Russian pig iron export slides in Sep.

According to the statistics, Russia exported pig iron of 294,000 tons in September, down by 67.8 percent on last year.
In September, Russia exported pig iron of 100,000 tons and 40,000 tons to Italy and South Korea, decreased by 49.3 percent and 12.2 percent last year respectively.
From January to September, Russian pig iron export totaled 3.34 million tons, down by 1.8 percent compared to that in the same period of last year.
From January to September, Russian scrap export totaled 1.93 million tons, up by 21.2 percent compared to the same period of last year.
