Omega Sinto Foundry Machinery Ltd, a name synonymous with pioneering advancements in chemically bonded sand equipment, proudly celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. This milestone marks four decades of relentless innovation, exceptional engineering, and a steadfast commitment to excellence. Born from a management buyout from Baker Perkins in 1984, Omega Sinto has evolved into a global powerhouse, transforming the landscape of foundry machinery.
Over the years, Omega Sinto has built an impressive portfolio, offering an extensive range of products that include state-of-the-art sand mixers, mould handling equipment, core making machines, shakeouts, sand reclamation plants, and coating plants. These innovations have positioned Omega Sinto at the forefront of the industry, serving foundries around the world with unparalleled efficiency and reliability.
The company’s remarkable growth is underscored by its strategic global partnerships. In 2001, Tinker Omega LLC was established to cater to the North American and Mexican markets. This was followed by the formation of Omega Sane Foundry Machinery PVT Ltd in 2009, expanding its reach in India and the acquisition of Richards Engineering by Omega. The establishment of ENDECO Omega (PTY) Ltd in 2015 marked Omega’s foray into South Africa, while the acquisition of Omega Tecnostudio SRL in Italy in the same year enhanced its design capabilities. The collaboration with Sintokogio of Japan in 2018 further solidified Omega Sinto’s global footprint, forming Omega Sinto Foundry Machinery Ltd.
Omega Sinto’s journey of innovation is marked by significant milestones. From the introduction of the Ribbon Flo Mixer in 1959 to the launch of the Omega Double Trough Mixer in 2024, each development has set new benchmarks in the industry. The evolution of the Spartan series mixers from I to IV reflects the company’s commitment to continuous improvement and technological advancement.
Mark Fenyes, Chairman and Mark Lewis, Managing Director are happy and excited:
"As we celebrate this monumental occasion, we also look to the future with a renewed sense of purpose and vision. Omega Sinto remains dedicated to driving innovation, improving efficiency, and providing cutting-edge solutions that empower foundries worldwide. We invite you to join us in commemorating this extraordinary journey and look forward to achieving even greater heights in the years to come.
