Metalurgia 2025 brings together launches, innovative technologies and services for the foundry chain
Tweet
Held every two years, the 13th Metalurgia – International Technology Fair and Congress for Foundry, Steel, Forging, Aluminum and Services, brings together launches, innovative technologies and services for the foundry chain in Joinville-SC, from October 7 to 10. There are 240 exhibitors from all regions of Brazil and nine other countries – Germany, Belarus, China, Spain, USA, France, India, Italy and Thailand.
The fair occupies 14,000 m² of exhibition space, which represents a 20% increase on the previous edition, held in 2023. Among the solutions on display are 4.0 technologies, automation, machinery and equipment, furnaces, raw materials, metrology solutions, software and control systems, effluent treatment, heat and surface treatment. The event’s organizers expect to welcome more than 20,000 professionals, mainly from the 17 Brazilian states with the greatest relevance in the foundry and steelmaking market, as well as from other countries.
“The fair fulfills the role of relationship, business and training, consolidating itself as the most complete B2B marketing investment. Nothing replaces face-to-face and this promises to be the biggest and best fair ever held, with increased business and networking opportunities,” says Richard Spirandelli, director of organizer Messe Brasil.
HIGHLIGHTED TECHNOLOGY AND SERVICES
The event also features a series of simultaneous events such as the Cintec Fundição Congress, organized by Dr. Fundição, with technical lectures focusing on process optimization and the use of artificial intelligence applied to the industry. Tickets are available on the Doutor Fundição website (https://www.doutorfundicao.com/event-details/cintec-2025). The program of free workshops promoted by the exhibitors, with themes linked to technologies and innovations in the sector, completes the program with 30 lectures.
The Business Roundtable is another important event that brings together buyers and sellers in the segment, with the opportunity to get to know new solutions and suppliers, and to consolidate business deals easily and quickly. Among the buyers are professionals from Agrale, ArcelorMittal, Ciser, Franklin Electric, Intelbras, Nidec, Romi, Schulz Automotiva and Stara.
Together, all these activities make Metalurgia a complete event and should attract a highly qualified audience in an environment suitable for business and access to the latest launches and technologies on the market. “This is the only event in the sector in Brazil that, in addition to visiting the fair, offers professional training through lectures and workshops and speed in closing deals through the round,” says Spirandelli.
The location of the event is another favorable point, as it takes place in the center of the most industrialized states in the country, equidistant from the Brazilian metallurgy hubs of RS, PR and SC, and in the city that concentrates one of the main foundries in the world, reasons that ensure its success among exhibitors and professionals in the sector. Organized by Messe Brasil, Metalurgia counts on the support of FIESC (Federation of Industries of the State of Santa Catarina), ABIMAQ (Brazilian Machinery and Equipment Industry Association) and ABINFER (Brazilian Tooling Industry Association).
