The Bright World of Metals.

Issued at 2011-06-22

Technologies - Processes - Applications - Products. 28 June to 2 July 2011. Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre.

If you are in the metals industry you know GIFA, METEC, THERMPROCESS, and NEWCAST, the four leading trade fairs that make up ‘The Bright World of Metals’ trade fair that takes place every four years in Düsseldorf.
You will also be aware that it offers a unique opportunity to engage with around 1,700 companies which attend to display and demonstrate their latest products and services. It also provides an unmatched forum for the exchange of ideas and information about the metals trade with manufacturers, suppliers and industry commentators.
The 2007 show was attended by 77,000 trade visitors of whom, according to exhibition surveys, 97% were highly-satisfied with both the event and post-exhibition business potential that had been generated.

Key issues on the agenda at the 2011 show
The issues of energy and resource efficiency are vital for companies when assessing the potential impact of new investments so the ‘ecoMetals’ initiative at this year’s show will be of major interest. The industry attaches great importance to the development of climate-compatible usage of resources and materials and companies participating in the ‘ecoMetals’ initiative must be able to show technical solutions with future potential that contribute to a sustainable improvement of efficiency in these areas.

The industry meeting place
There will be numerous opportunities to network with industry colleagues with sector-specific knowledge and compare products and services from new and current suppliers demonstrating the latest innovations and emerging technologies.
